We need (10) experienced Heavy and Light Equipment Mechanics with Top Skills.

We seek techs with experience working on CAT, Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, or similar types of Heavy and Light equipment.      

We need Techs in every major/mid-size city in Florida, from Pensacola to Miami. Choose your beach on the west or east coast or inland locations like Orlando and Tampa. Let us know the perfect city or multiple cities you are interested in.

Essential Daily Functions:

1. Perform service tasks as assigned.

2. Keep abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the company.

3. Report in complete detail as above regarding warranty situations handled.

4. Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe

6. Bring to the manager's attention any additional work required on a unit.

7. Notifies supervisor if shop equipment or a vehicle is not in a serviceable condition or constitutes a safety hazard.

8. Return tools to the crib at the end of a shift in a clean condition.

9. Keeps service bulletins and parts literature current and orderly.

10. Conduct yourself in the presence of customers in a manner conducive to good impressions of the company and the service department.

11. Take advantage of all opportunities to attend schools and training sessions to upgrade technical competence.

12. Perform other duties as prescribed by the supervisor.

13. Submit timely and reasonable expense reports.

14. Keep service trucks clean and adequately maintained.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2/5 years or more of continuous experience in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
  • Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Furnish and maintain a set of hand tools.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license as needed.
  • Physically able to stand, crawl, squat, kneel, reach, pull, push, lift 50 lbs, climb steps and ladders, and ability to manipulate hand tools.
