JNJ Equipment is a Large Metal Processing company located in Dallas and Houston, Texas. We have a large fleet of Sennebogan and Caterpillar machines that are similar to excavators.
We are seeking a "working mechanic supervisor" for our Houston location. If you have a friend that is a good tech bring them along with you. We need Techs at our Dallas and the Houston locations.

Job Objective: The Service Technician diagnoses and performs standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, and assembles equipment for the company.
Duties Include:
·Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on Heavy Equipment as assigned by the manager.
·Proper use of diagnostic equipment.
·Keep the manager informed on special parts orders, shortages and malfunctions.
·Complete all work orders (including warranty information) and timesheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner.
·Maintain current knowledge of products, technology, and models by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical and regulation publications.
·Keep shop equipment clean and serviced.
·Help control expenses and produce as much quality work as possible.
·Help maintains cleanliness, neatness, and safety of personal workspace, building, and lot.
·Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to the company safety program at all times.
Work Environment:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
· While performing duties, the employee may be near moving mechanical parts and inside and outside weather conditions.
